Toddler Art Projects: Photo Box for Dad
Need some Father’s Day craft ideas for toddlers? Then here’s an easy Fathers Day craft that even the littlest kid can do.
You’ll need the following craft supplies:
- paint
- varnish
- paintbrushes
- an old tin with a lid
- scissors
- glue
- pictures of dad and the kids
1. Once you have your clean tin, paint the tin to disguise its origins (dad doesn’t need to know it once held some cookies).
2. Pick out some of your favorite photos of dad, by himself and with the family, and cut them down to fit better on the tin.
3. Once the paint has dried, glue the photos onto the outside of the tin. You may want to put a very special photo of dad on the lid. You can also put one on the base inside the tin that dad can see every time he takes the lid off.
4. Give the glue and pictures some time to set then go over everything with a clear glaze or varnish (be sure to pick one that won’t ruin the photos). This will help keep the photos in place for a long time.
