Fluffy Banana Dessert
It’s quick, it’s easy and it’s delicious – what more could you want?
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 tbsp brown sugar or cinnamon
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 8oz (1 can) refrigerated crescent rolls
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 cup caramel sauce
1. Preheat oven to 350ºF.
2. Peel and slice the bananas and then mix them in a bowl with the vanilla, melted butter and brown sugar or cinnamon. Make sure the bananas are well coated.
3. Unroll two crescents rolls (should form a square) and place them on a cookie sheet. For a different presentation, place the crescent roll base into a muffin cup. Spoon ¼ of the banana mixture onto the square.
4. Bake desert for 11 to 13 minutes or until pastry is golden brown. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the banana rolls and serve. This desert goes well with vanilla ice cream.
