Kabobs
A BBQ favorite, these are great for when you’re having the whole family over on Father’s Day. Try different marinades and sauces for a different taste. This recipe serves four.
- 1 lb boneless sirloin steak
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 oz powdered ranch dressing mix
- 1 medium sweet pepper
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 medium yellow squash or zucchini
- 1 medium sweet onion
1. Mix together powdered ranch dressing, water and oil. Stir well.
2. Cut steak into cubes about 1-inch thick. Slice vegetables into chunks.
3. Pierce meat and vegetables, alternating between all, onto metal or wooden skewers. Once all the meat and vegetables are used, brush the kabobs with the ranch mixture.
4. Cook kabobs, uncovered and turning occasionally, over medium heat for about 10 to 12 minutes.
