Bookmarks
Nothing beats a cold, snowy winter day than a warm cup of cider and curling up with a good book! This winter craft for kids is simple and useful. Our bookmarks are easy to make and are a great way to get all the kids working together.
What You'll Need
- thin piece of cardboard
- pencil
- scissors
- felt-tip pens or permanent markers
Instructions
Trace a pattern of your choice onto a thin piece of cardboard for the top of the bookmark. You can also let children personalize their bookmarks by tracing their initial.
Make sure to draw the outline in pencil first and then retrace it using a felt-tip pen or marker.
Cut out the bookmark carefully (this should be done by an adult).
Decorate the bookmark using markers, sequins, faux feathers or stickers.
