When did you all transfer your toddlers into a toddler bed? I know my daughter was in a toddler bed before she was 2, my son is almost 2 and we still have him in his crib. He's a short little guy and very mellow, so he's never tried to climb out or anything like that.

over a year older, you may transfer your toddy in a bed with rack to avoid him falling off the floor. just to be sure your toddy won't get hurt at all, you can place on the floor around his bed a thick carpet, just in case you know...

i was wondering the same thing! i want my little boy in a toddler bed, but only because im excited to buy him all the cute bedding haha, he is 2 and has shown no interest in climbing out of his crib tho and ive been told by many to wait.

2.5 yrs old for my little one! First night was a pain, but it does get better. Just a change in their routine. Now she has no problems. We are expecting soon, and I read that it's best to do major transitions before the newborn comes home. Good Luck to You!

12 months here. We set up his toddler bed and then switched to a full sized futon on the floor. I have lovely linens on the futon and make it up neatly every day, so it looks nice and he LOVES it. He uses it as a little couch (which he never did with his toddler bed), hangs out on it, naps on it, etc.

15 months for my little one only because the crib was recalled for that dropside bar back then for my brand. He's done great since day one.

My son is 2.8 yrs old and still sleeps together with me and my hubby on our King size bed, he loves to cuddle with us. We are planning to get him a toddler bed on his 3rd birthday (which is 4 months from now). By the way, he stopped using his crib when he turned 2.
