what age is considered as playdate age? 2-4? 2-6? what do you think?

playdate is any age for me after around 2 years. when school starts I only allow playdates for saturday though.

if you have close friend or family with kids the same age then the sooner the better. this way they develop their social skills early.

so long as the other kids are OK then playdates are fine with me no matter what age they are.

i think 2 is a bit young. i only join play dates when the kids are around school age already.

around 4 for me. if we need to go to another house then going to the bathroom wont be a problem.

my kids usually play with their cousins who live nearby. it's pretty much open house at our place for my neices and nephews.

i think two is a bit early. my kids went on playdates when they had better control of their bladder. sometimes changing in strange places is really a hassle. and if you have to leave them their then your host might be bothered.

i let them go on playdates as early as 1. usually they are kids of my siblings or cousins and close friends.
