playdate is any age for me after around 2 years. when school starts I only allow playdates for saturday though. |

if you have close friend or family with kids the same age then the sooner the better. this way they develop their social skills early. |

so long as the other kids are OK then playdates are fine with me no matter what age they are. |

i think 2 is a bit young. i only join play dates when the kids are around school age already. |

around 4 for me. if we need to go to another house then going to the bathroom wont be a problem. |

my kids usually play with their cousins who live nearby. it's pretty much open house at our place for my neices and nephews. |

i think two is a bit early. my kids went on playdates when they had better control of their bladder. sometimes changing in strange places is really a hassle. and if you have to leave them their then your host might be bothered. |

i let them go on playdates as early as 1. usually they are kids of my siblings or cousins and close friends. |
