I PROVIDE MY CHILD WITH HER OWN TABLE TO EAT AND DO STUFFS LIKE COLORING AND PLAYING. I HAVE OBSERVED THAT IT HAS BENEFITS LIKE PRIVACY AND DEVELOPS HER INDEPENDENCE. I DON'T KNOW HOW IT WORKS BUT I THINK IT IS A GOOD IDEA. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

it's a good idea, prolly with mothers who do a lot of things at home or having some other stuffs to do to put their child on a corner where he can develop much his skills to become an independent. but do not do it quite often, you also need him/her to socialize with other kids which is an important stage to a child's life.

Yes, it surely is beneficial for the child. My kids have their own tables where they can study and do their thing. Of course you have to join them at times to assist and help them.

It sure is helpful but children should not be alone in a certain corner for long, you should be joining them once in awhile. Like for some that build tree houses for their children, parents should be able to check them while playing to be sure that they are safe and okay.

great one! kids have open sub-conscious while still in younger years so anything you come up to input in their young minds will surely be remembered and developed later on. cheers for that! :)

Nice way of helping your child develop independence and creativity. It is very effective when a child is given a certain private area and the freedom to do what entertains them.
