3-4 hours will do.. growing children really need a good amount of sleep to help them grow..but sometimes afternoon naps can lead them into not having quality sleep at night... just make sure that does not happen. |

kids nap for around 1 hour in the morning and an hour in the afternoon. i wake them up if they dont wake by themselves after 1 1/2 hours so that they can still sleep early at night. |

if they dont nap they dont last before dinner time. If they nap too much then they are up all night. I think naps are essential but parents should find the right balance. |
