my toddler doesn't know how to crawl. he just stands inside the play pen, holds at the sides for a support and walks around it. some toddlers crawls before learning how to walk but he doesn't. he uses his head to move and stand and never uses his knees. is this something i should be worried with?

i don' think you should be worried about it because crawling is not that necessary (i think!). you should not compare all the child's progress to other children because they all have different milestones.

that depends on how your child grows and develop, whether to walk in his own without going learning to crawl first or crawling before he learns to stand on his own feet, that doesn't matter anyways. what is important is that he will learn how to walk pretty soon.
