with my first baby girl, i bought so much clothes and shoes for her and i've noticed that she grows up so fast and she only used the stuffs for only 1 to 2 months. now with my second baby, a boy, i am afraid to buy clothes because i might encounter same problem as before and a lot will just go to waste. any advice on how to find a good solution for this dilemma?

you just buy enough, not too much in order to avoid wasting money and time. then you can buy the unisex clothes so that you can use it with your future babies regardless of gender.

i've had the same dilemma because a child's growth is very fast in the early stage. i do buy bigger sizes for allowance and some clothes with adjustable length like the pants.

it is best that if you are planning to have 2 or more babies, on your first baby buy stuffs you think will be useful to the upcoming baby you will have. try not to buy clothes that are in perfect fit, put some allowance to allow it to fit with your baby's body when she grows up.

yes, i think unisex clothes and having an allowance with the size is the best solution. i have to buy more clothes because i change my baby once in awhile to avoid skin allergies on sweat or spilled milk on his clothes.
