A good toddler book may be Tales of Peter Bunny by Beatrice Potter. I have been able to teach my kids many concepts by using the characters in the story. For instance, Peter would have been much better off listening to mommy OR you might end up meeting a Mr. MacGregor if you throw a tantrum etc. etc. I am not kidding. It started out as reading a story to them, but soon I was able to leverage the plot/characters in to learning points. |

Try "The Toddler Owner's Manual" I really enjoyed this book and found this to be funny yet practical. If you don't like all the fluff of your typical parenting tome, can take a little snark and you want to get down to business already, then you'll want this book on your shelf. |

You may want to look at The Girlfriend's Guide to Toddlers. It's contents are really down to earth and it comes from a real Mom. I really like this book. |
