i don't understand why my son has developed body odor when he is only 9! is that just normal? i mean, i think it is too early for him to be using a deodorant... is there any other way that we can prevent the foul odor without using a deodorant?

That could be possible especially if your son is hyperactive (example is when he is engaged to sports)... you can use anti-bacterial soaps that are also gentle for the young and sensitive skin. Some kids sweat a lot and that's mostly the reason for body odor. Just constant cleaning up, but if all else fail, then maybe you would need him to use a deodorant already.

at 9 the kids are on the cusp of adolescence. some kids mature faster than the others. you should use antibacterial soap and look for milk deodorants that he can use.

i think they begin to get stinky at this age. i think it is important to keep them clean and not sweaty.
