I have 2 kids with the same man but we were never married because after I got pregnant with my second child he got married to another girl who was also his girlfriend same time that we were together. We have a 7 yrs old boy and a 5 yrs old girl and I was thinking if I would ever get married or would live my whole life being a single mom?

I am also a single mom and I am happy as of the moment. I can't deny the fact that I get lonely with it but I already accepted this sitch. I do date at times but getting married is far behind from my plans.

you will always have a choice and of course a second chance to commit yourself to a man who will love you in return someday. but as of the moment, just enjoy being a mom and take good care of your kids while waiting for that right man to come your way.

Thanks ladies and Steph I think we have a lot in common... lol...

Anyway, I do enjoy and love my role as a mother and I thank God for the blessing of having my 2 kids, such a wonderful gift. Well, if being married is part of His plans for me then I'll wait for it, hoping it will be worth it...:)

i don't think being a single mom will make you any less a person. there are so many single moms at our times and yet they are very successful, happy and well contented. if having a husband will only means grief and would not make any difference, then why should find one? :)

just stay happy and blessed! :)

Thanks barbara, I truly needed that. Something to clear of my mind and do better for my kids. I just don't want to dwell on things that will just make me weak and irresponsible.

I salute all the single moms who have successfully raised their children despite being alone. If you think you are productive and fulfilled being a single mom then go for it. It is the children that matters most in our role as a mother.
