Hi all!
I know that for infants one of the early skills they can develop is the gross motor skills. What are the possible exercises that can help them in developing very good motor skills?
Thanks!

you see those children books that have really think pages? those are intended for helping children develop their gross motor skills. Turning pages of books does the trick :)

Let the infant crawl on all fours. Assist the baby to sit on your lap. Stand him up on your lap too. Guide his head while he looks at objects around him.

Really, all these the child develops naturally even without assistance but as a parent it helps to know. Evething is part of growing up and by age two, the motor skills of your child will have been finely tuned already.

for preschoolers, when they hop, skip, or jump they already establish their gross motor skills.. even as simple as walking...

for infants - crawling or holding their toy or maybe a feeding bottle (with your supervision ofcourse!) can already be considered as a practice for gross motor development.

grasping toys can and holding his/her feeding bottle can be considered a milestone for the kid.
