do you think organic clothing will decrease my baby's skin sensitivity?

Tessa - December 2nd, 2010 11:28 PM

Maybe. I guess you'll have to try it to see. But maybe it is also because of other factors like the soap you use for bath time or the detergent you use to wash his clothes.

I bought an organic blankie from eco-babies. I dunno how much these kinds of things can help with skin sensitivity, but at least you are sure that there are no artificial dyes and fabrics near your baby's skin so give it a try.

there's no way of knowing unless you try.

perhaps there are other reasons for his skin sensitivity... you wont know why unless you elimiate possible reasons.

there are lots of organic stores in the internet selling organic clothing. you should check them out and see if it can relive your baby's allergies.

Felicity - December 7th, 2010 2:16 AM

she might not be allergic to the cloth. it can be something that she ate. you have to eliminate all possible reasons before you can be sure that her sensitivity is because of the clothing.

I dont think it will decrease baby's sensitivity. Babies normally have sensitive skin anyway. They will grow out of it. Just give them time.

If the allergies are really bad though, you need to get a check-up.

itsmejoan - December 10th, 2010 3:55 AM

perhaps but baby skin is normally sensitive.

Honey - December 11th, 2010 3:08 AM

btw, you should also check if the print they use in the organic clothing is also organic. there are less than scrupulous people out there who label clothing as organic but is actually just synthetic.

no sure answer here. allergy or sensitivity can be caused by one or a combination of things.
