how many wettings before you change your baby's nappy?

SharmaineG - December 4th, 2010 2:33 AM

when the indicator fades I change the diapers. for cheaper diapers I change after 1 or two wettings.

I remember the cheap diapers leaks! I bought Huggies which was more reliable though more expensive. I change when the stickers fade.

if its cloth I change immediately. its uncomfortable being wet not to mention that the baby cries and it stinks after a while.

if disposable I dont rely on the indicators. I use my finger to feel if it is still dry enough.

Me too. I feel up the nappy and if its wet I change!

it depends on the indicator. if they are faded already then it's time for a change.

obviously for cloth you change after one wetting. but for disposable diapers I usually check first before changing.

KathyV - December 10th, 2010 3:54 AM

as soon as the indicator starts to fade I already check if it is wet. usually this means 2 wettings already.

feel the diaper... if it is damp then it is time to change.

Angel - December 12th, 2010 4:07 AM

i change before it is fully wet to avoid rash.

i think every other wetting is OK. I think it is too uncomfortable to be damp plus I am wary of rashes.
