I have heard from my mother that when an infant's color is red it means that he/she will have a dark complexion and when it's pink he/she will have a light complexion. Is it true?

i don't think it is true because my son was red when i gave birth to him and now he has a light complexion. those are maybe observations of other infants but are not facts at all.

there's no basis upon all that only coincidence is what happens to that. but there's no harm in believing such. baby's complexion maybe inherited the parent's complexion.

you know i do believe in this. i think it has a basis and not just coincidence.

what race are you? skin color is inherited. so just take a look at what color skin you (or your partner) have. this is what your baby's gonna have too.

I agree with Tameeka. like most other physical characteristics skin color is dependent on race and is inherited.
