Hello everyone, just gave birth last week and thank God it was a safe and normal delivery. I don't have much milk --- I think---, because my baby can't be satisfied with it and I was thinking of giving her a formula milk as an addition to my milk. Do you think it is safe? this early?

yes it is fine and you just consult your pedia about it. you mentioned that it is an addition, so you mean to say you will still be breastfeeding, so try to eat and take healthy liquids like soup and milk in order to have more milk for your baby.

so you don't lactate much? try to have more healthy soup in your meals, you can also drink milk and eat a lot of fruits and vegetables - these will help you produce a lot of milk.

Yes, I've been taking a lot of soup and eating healthy meals but my milk is not improving and also not that thick to satisfy my baby, it looks like water, almost transparent in color.

is your baby a girl or boy? our milk production sometimes depends on how the baby sucks. then most baby boys do suck well thus the mother's milk is more satisfying for the baby compare to the girls.

Baby girl alexa, is that so? But as I've observed she do suck properly and even the bottle nipple, she suck well. Every time she feeds, it is as if she is starving so much. I'm afraid also that I might overfeed her.
