i think my baby boy is a colic baby. i can't make him sleep longer than 1 hour. he keeps crying and would sometimes scream for discomfort but i can't find any reason for it. how can i handle him and how long this stage will last?

i think i can relate to this, my baby also cries a lot, mostly during the afternoon. i already checked his diaper and he is full but is still crying. it is very stressful for me to him in such situation and i can't help him.

Most babies nowadays are colicky and it is not our fault as parents or mothers. The cause of the colic is unknown and it may last up to 3 months to 6 months. You can help your baby by trying different ways of soothing him/her. Look for ways or styles that would make the baby feel comfortable.

yeah, i think my baby is colic too. there are times that she cries a lot and there is nothing wrong with her. all i can think of is there is gas inside her stomach that makes her stomach aches because she keeps curling. is it possible?

Yes it is possible and that is the common cause of colic. Keep the baby elevated while carrying or the football way of carrying will help them while massaging their back so they can fart.

i did not really got the picture of the football carry so i searched it and i think it works. thanks darling!

o yeah the football carry for colic babies is also effective for my baby when he was about 1 to 2 months old. good that it also works on your baby madz0814, don't worry because it is only for the first few months and soon things will be ok for your baby.

there are also anti colic feeding bottles but never tried it. my sis in law is using it and i think it is helpful although those are a little expensive.
