Anahitasmom - October 17th, 2010 12:10 PM

My daughter Anahita just turned 4 months this weekend. She is not a chubby baby(weighs around 5.5kgs) like other kids her age and is rather on the slim(but tall) side..However I'm sick of people constantly telling me that she is not 'strong' enough and needs more feeding. She is already taking 4 to 6 oz of formula every 3 to 4 hours! I don't know how much more can I or should I feed her.Anahita is an extremely active, allert and happy baby and is reaching milestones in time.
What do I do????Am I going wrong somewhere?

upset mom :(

you don't have to put too much attention with how people criticize or advice you about how you fed and take care of your daughter when you are sure that you give her all the best a mom could ever give. just focus on the growth of your daughter, nothing else matters than watching her growing up healthy and happy.

feel pressured of those unwanted advice, don't be. you are the mother and you know what's good for your baby. just learn to listen or read advices that comes from the experts and not with those people who are just giving away their unjustified opinions.
