I am so uncomfortable with a pump I dont like to do it. I usually breast feed my baby in a feeding station at the mall. but what if there is no feeding station? how do you suggest I breastfeed my baby?

You should bet a baby feeding blanket if you dont already have one. I used to breastfeed in public too and had this blanket that looks like an apron. You can use it to cover yourself and your baby while feeding in public places.

I use the pump and I also have a nursing blanket which I use to cover us up even if we are at home. I find that my baby likes being warm when we breastfeed.

I also pump when we need to go out or maybe you can prepare a formula instead. just for going out.

I used a formula when we are not at home. I also pump so that my baby can have breast milk too.

I found pumping painful at first but got used to it. When I had to go out with my baby, I had a nursing blanket with me and some formula in case it wasnt convenient to breastfeed.

I use infant formula when I am not at home and baby gets hungry. I dont like to use a pump too... painful!

I have a nursing blanket to cover us. If it is too uncomfortable then I always have some pumped breast milk with me.

how about an electric pump? it is more comfortable than the manual one.

annabelle - December 12th, 2010 3:00 AM

i think you should look into formula. this is more convenient than a feeding blanket.

thank you for the suggestions. We now have an infant formula which I can take with me whenever we have to go out!
