I am very particular with the teeth because both me and my husband don't have nice and perfect teeth. I don't want my child to experience the same, so I wanted him to see a dentist as early as possible so as to maintain healthy and nice teeth.

at the age of 3 a child can start a check up with their dentist. i agree that taking then to the dentist earlier is very helpful and there is no need to fear of dental problems in the future.

i also believe that training them to visit the dentist early will take away the fear of going to the dentist that kids normally feel. In addition it is a good way of keeping their teeth healthy.

That is right baabyy, I can relate to the fear of going to the dentist. I've had that experience when I was young. I can't clearly remember why I was so scared visiting the dentist but I know I had bad experiences with my dentist.

I see. I think we should help them create a nice and friendly relationship with their dentist so as to avoid having the fear of visiting their dentist.

it will depend on the child's first few visits with their dentist. a child can love or hate it, so it is advantageous if you have a family dentist that has already a good relationship with your kids.

yeah it is better to visit the dentist during the early years of a child's life in order to also take care of their teeth before some problems occur and it may be too late.

we started at around 4. this way they're not scared of the dentist and get into the habit of bianual checkups early on.
