My son is 21 months old and he is as big as a 3yr old. Just wondering when I can start giving him those flinstones gummies, as he is such a picky eater.

school age will be perfect for the gummies. that would be around 36 months old.

We have been using vitamins for a long time now. We use he gummy ones because one of my boys has issues with chewing hard things. We started around 18 months and tried a few different ones before finding the ones they would easily take. Our ped is the one who suggested vitamins for them.

We don't do the gummie ones, we do the hard ones, but you can absolutely give that to your toddler. Mine hates the flavor of them, so I dissolve them in his milk and he thinks it's great.

We do the flintstone starter ones, not the gummy ones - once a day

If the child doesn't have the ability to chew the gummy, they could choke. I've used the liquid in smoothies up until I was comfortable with them moving to gummies.

You can always start giving him those as early as 2yr old. As long as he can already chew very well and if you think he can manage it without choking. Make sure to consult your Pedia first before switching vitamins. They always know best.

i still give him the syrup because i don't really trust the chewables, he might not chew it well or may spit it out without me knowing. it is better to be really sure that he takes it in.
