toddlers grow up so fast. one day my son's shoes fit next day they are too small already! same with his clothes!

emma_54 - December 5th, 2010 3:48 AM

hahahah! it's the nature of kids to grow up fast.

my suggestion is to not buy the expensive stuff when it comes to clothes and shoes!

Allyson - December 5th, 2010 4:48 AM

LOL!

If you have kids close in age then one kid can "inherit" some of the clothes. this will allow you to save money.

itsmejoan - December 6th, 2010 4:13 AM

you can save some of your older kids clothes and shoes for the young ones. also you can buy at thrift stores for some of their stuff.

I buy the cheap ones for wearing at home. Then for clothes going out I also buy some expensive ones but I also try to find bargains.

JaneDoe - December 9th, 2010 4:46 AM

how about buying clothes wholesale? I know the clothes all look the same but you also save a lot of money and if you have other friends with kids same age as yours you can give some of them away as gifts.

just dont buy the branded clothes too much. they are expensive. stick to the generic ones instead. they wont need to be durable anyway since kids grow out of them so fast!

milkyway - December 11th, 2010 4:20 AM

i buy wholesale too. my sister' kids are same age as mine so we save on clothing costs!

all kids are like fast growing people when going through clothes. i think you will have to expect this until they reach high school!

Samantha - December 13th, 2010 4:22 AM

i agree! kids grow up so fast! I save some of my older kids clothes so that the younger ones can wear. I also buy inexpensive brands!

TWINKLE - December 19th, 2010 10:54 AM

for at home only clothes i buy from thrift stores or 99 cents stores. i only buy expensive clothes that they wear when going out.
