even after a glass of warm milk, I still have problems getting my child to bed. since i have to wake him early for school, he gets irritable and I'm afraid it also affects his performance in school... what else can i do?

you can try avoiding late afternoon or evening sugar and caffeine intake. (Usually sodas are huge source for both). Also try playing a relaxing and soothing music to create a calm environment.

Avoid feeding your child at least an hour before going to bed. Feeding them can increase their metabolism and can energize some kids (since it may not be true to all)... well at least you can check with your kid if it helps :)
