do not take the "superhero, i'm your mom" ways to put her at the best spot when she wakes up. instead, give some gaps like waiting her to walk through to you and ask what she wants to eat or do. sometimes a child may not want to be bothered by the time she wakes up, just be patient enough to play with her mood swings. |

i think majority of the toddlers are really cranky and moody every time they wake-up first thing in the morning. maybe you should cheer her up with your best prepared snacks or breakfast along with her few faves to eat. |

We have our fair share of fussy mornings. I typically can pacify my little one with books. She is a book worm. |

dear daughter is the exact same. If I have to wake her up in the mornings, she is extremely cranky, however if she wakes up on her own - all is fine ;-) |

I only experience cranky mornings when I force my son to wake up. If he wakes up on his own, I usually get a big smile and a hug. When he does have one of those cranky moods, I only have 1 solution for it, I give him what he wants...which in my case, let him watch his favorite cartoons... toy story, madagascar or UP, then all is well...LOL |

I sometimes get one of those cranky mornings. When my son wakes up and I don't give him what he wants right away, he'll throw things to our faces and sometimes just keep crying... I learned how to handle him as time goes by. I guess it just takes a lot of getting used to. |

I am certainly on of the few lucky ones who don't experience this. My little one throw temper tantrums once a while but I've never noticed a cranky morning. |
