We have a twins, both boys ages 2 and a half. Our home kinda has a limited space. It is only a small one with 2 bedrooms. Still starting out and we can't transfer to a bigger apartment yet.

Would a bunk bed be a good idea for my toddlers? If we place 2 single beds, even small ones, there won't be enough space around their room to move around. A bunk bed is one solution but I am hesitant because the one at the top might fall down or injure himself going up and down. ... Heaven forbid.

I don't think twins would mind sharing a bed. Just make sure that they have enough sleeping space. if they are old enough you can get a double decker to compensate for the space.
