the idea is something new, easy and hassle-free but i definitely would give a traditional way birthday gift where it is more appreciated of the effort and the uniqueness. |

Personally, I think they are very tacky. It's just all very assuming. Now, I do understand your point that it makes it easier for everyone, but I really feel like we're all getting very far away from the point of gift giving-which is taking the time out of your day to go to the store and thoughtfully pick out a unique gift that you think that person would love. |

I think it's a great idea. I hate having to decide what to get some kids, especially if you don't know what size clothes they wear, toys they like, etc. I made a registry for my daughter's 1st birthday party. Everyone was asking what to buy her anyway, so I made it easy. If someone wanted to get their own thing, that was fine too. She didn't NEED everything on the list, it was just a guideline and size chart. |

I really think this is a great idea! I thought registries only works for weddings... Anyway, this will save the guest a whole lot of time thinking for what gift to get. |

I am having second thoughts about this. I think it's kind of insisting that your guest should get something for your kid. But hey, that's just me... |

I don't think there's any harm for doing a birthday party registry... It's simply a way of helping guests know what your child wants. If a guest doesn't want to bring anything it's their choice. birthday party registries just works like a guide not a command. |
