i am so worried about my son's smell after school or after playtime. he sweats a lot and he smells a lot. i want to lessen it with powder and cologne but still the smell gets worse. i envy other kids who after an active activity still smells like a baby.

That is normal to active kids. You just have to give them a good bath or change their clothes after. You can't blame that because there are really kids who sweat a lot.

have you ever consider to examine how you wash his clothes? sometimes the smell comes from how you wash his clothes. it should have been clean and without excess water when you dry it up to avoid the accumulation of bacteria.

some kids are just really having this normal smell most especially when they are so active and sweats a lot for the entire day. just be sure you are sending him over an extra shirt and towel so he can wipe off his sweats and dirt around the body while playing.

You don't need to worry about that its just a phase. Most kiddos especially boys goes through that. My younger brother used to be like that but when he grew up and learned to take care of himself, the smell from a that sweating is gone.

i do bring extra shirts for him and his clothes are well washed. i am not comfortable not taking an action about it. i am a teacher and i can really see the difference with the smell of other active kids.

It is kind of disturbing for me too. Especially that I have a baby boy and I am very observant with other kids smell so I have to really make sure that my baby is not smelling bad like a sweaty adult.

it is good that my child does not easily sweat so his odor is not a problem at all. try to change his soap or use an anti-bacterial laundry soap for his clothes. it might help.
