my dad used to drive and fetch us at school when we were kids, so we never rode the school bus to or from the school. what age is it OK to let kids ride the school bus by themselves?

i rode the bus 1st grade first day with my older brother. i think it's ok to let them ride as soon as they are comfortable with the idea.

riding the bus with friends is fun. around 1st grade is OK for me.

its part of cutting the apron strings. your kid has to grow up and riding the bus is a good way of testing if the can behave by themselves or not.
