PSP? you mean Play Station Portable? you can give it to him on a right age, or in a way he can balance his schooling and playing |

i really don't like the psp because it occupies the child's thoughts and brain. the graphics and the games, not really against it. its fun to have it as an alternative for your child's free time. they may own it but let them use it only if they are not studying... |
|

if he's old enough to have it then why deprive him from all of this stuffs. though a little moderation on playing it |

gadgets nowadays are best cure for a child's boredom. but it should not become a need for a child to have fun. |
|

though give them those educational games its fun and they will be able to learn |

At that age games can be influential to a growing child. Refrain from giving your child violent games. There are lots of PSP games that don't dwell on violence. Be sure to look at the recommendation that is found on the box. It is there for a reason. As a parent you are responsible for this. |

any types of gadgets these days can really influence the child to use them more than paying attention with their studies. i'm not saying that its bad to have PSP or any type of gadgets but discipline the child on when to use it. |

they are really violent games that's out in the market plus it can be downloaded directly to the PSP without parents knowing, just supervise your kids on the games that they are playing |

It is fine. At least for me it is. I taught my kids the values of school and playing. They understand it very well. They know when to play or when to do their homework. Of course, it can be different for younger children. Both of mine are already in elementary so they are a bit more responsible and mature compared to toddlers. |
