Homeschooling is my current option for my child right now. With all the news, bullying and crazy environment outside our house, I'm too scared sending my child in an actual school. I know it would be expensive hiring a teacher to teach my child but it would be too risky for a toddler to attend public school. I have reasons. I want security for my child.

I STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT PHYSICAL AND REAL ENVIRONMENT HAS A HUGE EFFECT ON A CHILD'S GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT.
They need to experience the reality of the outside world. But I am not against homeschooling.

I was home-schooled for 3 years because my dad wanted me to. The first year in the public school was a bit traumatic because adjusting to kids and mean girls and bullying was hard.

i think homeschooling is a safer and more convenient option but let's be aware that the time will come that we need to unleash them so that they will experience the real world. this will make them ready to face real life challenges that will make them a better person whey they grow up.

for me i will send my kids to the Public School for them to learn more, its not that im against of homeschooling its just that, i know when theyre just at home they will always play and not going to listen to what theyre mentor's teaching.and for me, sending them to school makes your child meet new friends. cheers!

i'd go for public school. their is more to learn, see, feel and experience outside the house. i was home schooled for only a year but my parents thought it would be best for me to see the world!

W3Low - February 11th, 2011 1:34 AM

prefer to send them to a school coz i know they're gonna learn lot of things.

MidnightPotato - February 11th, 2011 4:48 AM

Youre right Willow, better send them to school than to just get a tutor, as we know they will learn more in the school and meet new friends, thats a factor for them to become a better person. :)

Honestly, their is a good factor for homeschooling for our kids. We can monitor them on their behavior towards studying. They'll be away from bullying by mean teens or kids their age. I'm not saying that parents will treat them as prisoners but they can still experience the real world when they can.

public school. for obvious reasons, i want my child to be independent and responsible. we are not 100% that we are safer inside our house.

Mom_Bee - February 19th, 2011 7:47 AM

its better to be a public school so that there are more interactions with other people so that my kid will never feel inferior

cancun - February 20th, 2011 5:55 PM

ofcourse in a public school cos i am working and busy person. it doesn't mean i don't have time for my kids but its for them to learn more.

simonstanesha - February 21st, 2011 5:20 AM

public school. public school. public school. more reality and experiences in the outside world.

MaceeyM606 - February 22nd, 2011 1:34 PM

either way, the child must experience and get the best education he or she deserves. you can also ask your child if he or she wants to be home schooled or go to a public school.

Public school. If we are going to do a debate about homeschooling vs public school, I'm sure public school has more advantages.

WandaKegg - February 24th, 2011 3:16 PM

It is okay to protect our child from the danger outside your home most especially the possible bullying they may experience from public school. I could agree with either.

iLoveParis - February 27th, 2011 2:45 PM

One advantages of Public Schooling is they offer advanced classes. They also have different curricular activities.
