yes it is getting more popular. my advise is to contact parents who are homeschooling their kids right now and to talk to them regarding their experience. this way you get the real deal on homeschooling. |

homeschooling lacks the "school" experience for me. I feel like I am cheating my child out of this experience. so Im a No for homeschool. |

i havent considered homeschooling my kids at all. aside from lacking the school experience, i want them to be able to interact with a a lot of different kids. and this is something homeschool cannot give. |

i like the idea but dont know how to start. also the idea is intimidating. i think i should go to a seminar or training about homeschooling first before i seriously consdider homeschooling my kids. |

I know someone who is homeschooled from elementary till high school. even though you are homeschooled you still need to take exams certified by the state. |

not convenient for us as my partner and I work full time... |

We both work too so I dont think this is an option for us. But I agree that this is getting more and more popular. |

I think most American parents work full time. Even though I have to do my research on this yet, I dont think I would be an effective teacher to my kids. |

I work part-time at home and hubby is has a job out of state so he is only home during the weekends. so even though I think this has merits, I cannot do it for my kids. |

no.... we work full time too. it wont work for us. |

i have a full time career too. but i feel that my kids deserve the best from me and some schools have bullies and peer pressure. i want to spare them that! |

its really better to send your kids on a school not just homeschooling cause its better to expose your kids with different kinds of people |
