I would advise them not to "cope" but to fight back and then report the bullies to the principal. If bullies were reported early on then this type of behavior would not fester. |

i would tell them that there's nothing wrong with telling on the bullies. this way these kids will stop being bullies. |

i would bully the bullies back! there's no way of stopping bullies except letting the know how it feels to be bullied! |

I agree that the effective way to deal with bullies is to tell on them. This way they will be reprimanded and can see how hurtful their bulling ways are. |

oh god... i hope i never have to deal with this and that my kids will be brave enough to tell me that they are being bullied. i would then talk to the kid's parents. let's see how they feel if the shoe were the other way around! |

I was bullied and it did not stop until I stood up for myself. So I would tell my kids the same thing! |

OMG, yes. talking to the pricinipal would be the next thing I do after I talk to the kids' parents. I was bullied a bit so I understand how this feels! |
