after my youngest was born I began having trouble sleeping. I think this is because of the frequent early morning feeding and my body still has not adjusted even though he already sleeps through the night.

Is it OK to take sleeping pills? I am not breastfeeding anymore.

i think it is ok just so long as you dont get addicted to them.

i think you should consult your doctor for a low dose sleeping pills first.

cant you try natural ways of sleeping first before the sleeping pills?

JaneDoe - December 13th, 2010 4:43 AM

there are lots of natural sleeping aids you can try. if you also have some chamomile tea drink some before bed. it will help you relax. wine will also help.

ask your doctor's advice. as long as they say yes then i think it is fine. just make sure you only use them when you really need it.

find a relaxing activity before bed. a massage or sex can make you sleepy! :D

so long as it is doctor approved. but for me i am scared of getting used to taking sleeping pills i might not be able to sleep naturally then would need a bigger dose.

i think it would be better to exhaust all natural sleep remedies first before proceeding to sleeping pills.
