women with post partum depression are...well, depressed. the are crying, ignoring their baby and they basically act strange. My sister-in-law had post partum depression and would ignore her baby even when he would cry his eyes out! |

i read that this is quite common than we think. something like half of the women who get pregnant suffer from post partum depression. |

i agree. although i did not suffer from post partum depression i was kind of sad for a while when i first became a mom. it was overwhelming and i felt like my baby cried all the time. lucky for me the feeling was gone after a day or two! |

post partum depression can be dangerous and should be treated immediately. |
