I think school age, around 4 is a good time to ask kids to help with chores. something easy like sweeping the floor for crumbs or setting the table is pretty easy for kids this age. |

When we were kids we would alternate chores. So I think this is how we would do it when the kids are old enough. For now my partner and I divide the chores between us and we have someone who cleans the house 2x a week. |

hmmm... perhaps when the kids are older they can have their own chores. Chores can teach kids responsibility. |

we start training them early. for the young kids they have to keep their toys after playing with them. that's a rule. the older kids help with small chores like setting the table, sweeping the floor etc. |

my kids are still young but I will definitely be assigning them chores later on. |

chores can teach kids responsibility. so yes. they have chores. even something small as keeping their toys is a big help already. |

easy chores for the smaller ones and harder chores for the big ones. my hubby is also always the dish washer as I always cook our meals! :) |

they are asked to help as soon as they are old enough. there are a lot of light chores kids can do at home like sweeping the floor or picking up their toys. |

we have a big family so everybody always has something to do especially chores. chores can help kids work together and learn about responsibility. |

as soon as they are old enough then I ask them to help out. with a house-full of kids there's always something to do at home! |
