i know what you mean. this is one of the reasons why the age gaps of my kids are huge because I had to go back to work. |

i have a very understanding husband who let me have a career first and a family later. although i cant imagine him asking me to drop work because of the economy today, he would have to give me a pretty good reason to do so. |

i think it is unfair for him to ask me since i worked hard for my career. i love my family but having a career is important not only for me but for us since the recession was really hard on our savings. |
|

i work part time only but really love it. i would be crushed if he asked me to stop! |
|

yes i do but it is only because we pressure ourselves. i married in my 30's and have two kids now. i wanted to plan and save for our future which is why i decided to marry a bit late. |

this is the modern world not the medieval times... women can now have both! |

i work part time too. but if i really need to stop then I would. family comes first for me. i would not resent him if it is what my family needs. |

i would step down from being a career woman only if needed. it has to be a really big and good reason. i worked hard for my career and my family is important. while family always comes first, we all need a job in order to survive financially in this world. |

i would choose family hands down. i only work part time but if they need me more then i would do it in a heart beat. |

i worked hard for my career but if my family needs me then i would perhaps work from home. there are many jobs online. for me financial security is important but so is family and if i work from home then i would get these two. |
