what is a good age gap between children.

im thinking around 4-5 years in between. husband says they are too far off. he says we should have kids every 2-3 years!

my kids are spaced 5 years apart. this way there's always a kid at home even though the others are grown up. :D

2-3 is still to close for me. my kids have huge age gaps. my eldest is already 10 and I have a 6 month old at home. We did it this way because of financial matters.

i like big age gaps too. my kids age gaps are 7 years apart.

Any age above 3 is good for me. Too close and everything would be too chaotic whith two very young kids.

we are planning on having kids at 3 years interval. i think this is Ok healthwise for me and financially for my family.

i think it is better for kids to have age gaps between 3-5 years. parents can focus more if the other kids are bigger plus it is also easier financially.

I think I want the closer age gaps. this way my kids will be playmates and will grow up like friends.

we have already planned for big age gaps between our kids! in my family we also had big age gaps and I like that there is always a kid in the house!

big age gaps for me too! having two small kids at the same time can be labor intensive! hahahah!

QmelQ - December 15th, 2010 4:06 AM

gaps of around 3 years for us. my sister told me that if you have too large age gaps you wont want to take care of a baby anymore because you're gonna feel lazy! :)

we already have two with 4 year age gaps. i want another one but not in another 5-6 years!
