a bump here and my nephew bruises, specially in his bony areas like his knee and elbow or his back, could this be an indication of something worst?

most of kids bruises are on its bony parts, i think its pretty much normal, after all bump to anything at anytime. just tell you nephew to be careful.

something to look out for,if your baby develops deep purple bruises with minor or no injury scattered on the body, this could indicate a bleeding disorder and requires an evaluation.

There is a condition called "hemophilia" that could affect boys only. you might want to have your nephew evaluated, just to be safe.
