My daughter would wake up in the morning crying in pain. She complains about stomachache very frequently that I had to eventually bring her to the doctor to see what is going on. The doctor told me that it might be a case of IBS or irritable bowel syndrome. Is there any mom here that knows about this? and how you dealt with it?

I'm sorry to hear that, Shanna.
You may want to get further evaluation from your doctor. There are other conditions that is associated with IBS. There is really no exact cure for it, however there are ways on relieving the symptoms. Though it normally does not lead to more serious diseases, it can greatly affect the child's quality life.
