well i guess it does, no reason why they come up with those classical music for babies right? has something to do ith brain activity if they are listeing to soothing music specially classical music. |

I'd agree. I, myself can work better when there's music. It calms me and it soothes my mind and so it allows me to think more clearly. I think the same thing happens to babies. |

it works the other way for me ashley. When I listen to music while i study, i can't concentrate...but I'd have to agree that it helps in soothing or calming you down. I guess it is also proven that classical music can enhance a baby's brain development. I just don't know why. |

music just does wonders, as long its good for our babies then im good wth it.the best explaination i can come up with is that the arrangement of classical music generates brain activity that allows us to get more information since we are a little less stress with it. If you get distracted with usic then you are music lover, its like i can't sleep when the i know the song thats playig in the radio. |

I know that there was one institution who conducted a research program music being able to promote healing. They did it in the ICU with comatose patients and the results were unbelievable. They have increased rte of patients waking up from coma and faster healing. so if that is possible to healing ailments, then i don't think it is far from being able to help in the child's brain development. |
