I agree. This is why sugar intake is limited in my house. Sure I let them have cookies and juice but I control their intake. It's my right and responsibility to do so. |

with milk the less carbohydrates the better. this is because carbs get transformed into sugar upon digestion. so choose milk that has less carbohydrates. |

But if your child is very active, is it OK to give them some sugar? I mean the normal sugars that you would find in a normal meal. |

If the kid is active i think it is better to give him carbohydrates or protein rather than sugar. with carbs and protein there are other benefits like muscular growth. |
