My baby was using maxicosi Cabrio Fix but he simply hates it! he cries whenever we put him in and initially we thought he was naughty. Even when we bring him on buzz stroller.. he will cry and we ended up carrying him all the way. We gave up and one day we put him on the original buzz seat and he was a happy baby. We were a little suspicious that he doesn't like to face us anyway. hehe..
And we continue to use it in the car permanently. Until a friend recommended safe-and-sound, we switched and we can really see the difference in behaviour - he actually looks out of the window, entertained himself until he fell asleep!!! Amazing! I guess it's more comfortable to touch and also softer? And it's higher so baby able to enjoy the scenery.. And what's more important, i feel safer to put him in the current carseat as it feels more steady - it has rear facing up till 12kg and fwd facing and can sit till 18kg.
