heartburn is triggered by increasing progesterone levels during pregnancy. to avoid this avoid eating big meals. also, dont eat too fast. avoid foods that trigger heartburn like chocolate, coffee, spicy foods and fatty foods. |

Yes, there are heartburn medications that can be taken safely during pregnancy. But in my opinion it would be better to have some peppermint tea if you really need it. |
