im not into special theme like rockbands or medieval ages, im a simple person who likes simple one color theme, but i don't want my friends to be bored of the theme.
how can I make it interesting?

well it really depends on your and your friends character. you can go with black with a touch of gold to show some sleekness or go with rainbow colors.
But i really enjoy white theme more!

go with polka dots, its quite fun specially if you have kids coming over for the party. its like the 101 dalmatians
