its accustomed that the expectant mom should wear a bow hat for the party, but i think it is just silly. I want to know if there other ways to make the the celebrant stand out?

errr... since she's the one with the biggest stomach then she stands out pretty well already.

a hat or a bow is silly. everybody is friends at this type of party so no need for any of that.

i dont think ginger gets it. there is a chance that in a baby shower that there might be 2 or more preggy mommies. anyways it is customary to have the celebrants to wear something that stand out, i guess is pretty silly but having a corsage is ok. like in the prompt
