i was wondering when did baby showers originate, and as expected it came from the chinesse, they use to do it a month after their baby is born. and due to medical advances we can now tell how far along is someone. Just sharing just in case you want to know. lol

i did wonder the same before, but im just wondering, if its really needed... or is it impolite to ask for the gifts only. you know with the economy today.

I think this trend started in the 90's. Its a way for friends and family to give the mom to be some new stuff for her baby.

no matter where it came from, think baby showers are essential. a celebration of life with friends and family!
