Delicious Easter Recipes

For most families, Easter Sunday culminates in a large dinner with friends and families gathered round your table. If you’re stuck for Easter meal ideas, then you’ve come to the right section!

Ham is the most common type of meat served at Easter time. If you’re tired of your usual ham, then consider trying a new glaze. By simply changing the glaze you put on your ham, you can change your entire meal. Take a look at some of the delicious suggestions for Easter Hams including: Orange and Ginger Glazed Ham, Baked Ham with Whiskey Glaze, Sweet and Spicy Baked Ham and Champagne Ham.

Of course, you can’t just serve ham alone! Just as important as your main dish, the vegetable side dishes you prepare can make or break your meal. While old classics like steamed broccoli and carrots along with some peas and maybe mashed potatoes, are always good, why don’t you turn your meal up a notch with something new this Easter?

Try one or all of these twists on the classic sides and have all your guests asking for more! How about serving creamy cheese au gratin potatoes, basil green beans or mandarin broccoli. And then there's barbequed asparagus, and carrots with ginger and honey - a great complement to your orange and ginger glazed ham!

But be careful not to go overboard – you want to make sure you save some room for dessert! And what would Easter be without chocolates and other yummy goodies?

Consider serving Easy Easter Pie or a Strawberry Rhubarb Crunch after your Easter Sunday dinner. Many of these recipes, including the Marshmallow Chicks and Bunnies and Chocolate Easter Nests are easy enough for even preschoolers to do. Just make sure there is an adult in the room to supervise at all times.
