Barbequed Asparagus
So simple and yet so flavorful, this is a fantastic way to prepare asparagus all year long.
- 1lb asparagus
- Olive oil
- Salt or Parmesan cheese (optional)
1. Thoroughly coat each asparagus stock with the olive oil.
2. Lightly salt the asparagus and then throw them on to the barbeque for about 10 minutes or until they begin to char. Serve immediately.
Alternatively, if it is just too chilly to barbeque where you live, then preheat your oven to 400°F, prepare the asparagus as before, place on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes. Take them out, sprinkle a little Parmesan on the asparagus and bake for another 5 minutes. Voila! Delicious asparagus.
